The La Tâche vineyard spans just over six hectares (15 acres) – about three times the size of the neighbouring Romanée-Conti vineyard.
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti made 21,280 bottles of La Tâche in 1955, which was a good Burgundy vintage, though the whites were better than the reds.
