Lafite–Latour–Haut-Brion 1968… 🍷🍷🍷

This was the wettest Bordeaux vintage of the 1960s (which is to say – VERY wet), with relentlessly heavy rain during August and September. 

But fruity, charming, drinkable (!) wines were made – “luncheon wines”, as they used to be called – which was not always the case in (the almost as wet) 1963 or 1965…
