Bowmore is Islay’s oldest distillery, with its first recorded mention dated to 1779.
It’s home to the world’s oldest whisky maturation warehouse – the No. 1 Vaults, the old stone warehouse that sits on the edge of Loch Indaal.
The 1957 Bowmore Gold 38-Year-Old was distilled on 14th January 1957.
It was aged for 38 years in Bowmore’s No. 1 Vaults.
It’s one of only 861 bottles produced and is presented in a handmade oak presentation case, crafted by the Master Cabinet Makers of Charles Kirkby & Sons in Sheffield, England.
